Effecting positive social change through community led unorthodox learning

In July 2019, we successfully launched the Plug Project, a community led skills acquisition program connecting young people to unorthodox learning and local employment opportunities (Read more about the experience here: To scale up the program, we have enlisted new education partners to co-design and provide accredited job specific training, and socially responsible employers to provide fair employment opportunities to our program participants. Our partner list keeps growing..

Our new programs will be inclusive of individual over age 18 from various backgrounds with a strong focus on:

  • Individuals from CALD communities;

  • Skilled migrants;

  • Women;

  • Mums returning to work and;

  • Women leaving abusive relationships who have experienced financial abuse and seeking employment for self & family support;

  • People living with disability.
